History
The code was originally a 32bit-DOS program (with wireframe 3d graphics!) authored as a
ECE 291 class
project at University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign.
After the class ended, Brandon
Long ported the code to Linux The original MOD/S3M mix engine was
written by Daniel L. Marks. The GUS-Linux support was added by David Jeske. After s3mod was released to the Linux community, several people made
additions and added support for other platforms.
